About The Position

Are you passionate about travel, building strong relationships, and helping independent travel professionals succeed? We’re looking for an experienced travel professional to lead our Independent Contractor Program and support a growing community of independent travel advisors, with a strong focus on premium and luxury leisure travel. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary connection between our independent advisors, internal teams, and valued supplier partners. You’ll help recruit and onboard talented advisors for our independent contractor program, connect them with valuable resources and business opportunities, strengthen supplier relationships, coordinate educational and industry experiences, and foster an engaged advisor community. You’ll also stay current on travel trends and identify opportunities to enhance and expand the program. As a strategic partner to leadership, you’ll help establish program goals, monitor sales, profitability, recruitment, retention, and engagement, and use those insights to continually strengthen the program. You’ll collaborate across the organization to improve processes, leverage technology, and develop initiatives that support our independent advisors while contributing to the overall growth of the business. What will make you successful in this role? You’ll bring 5+ years of leisure travel experience, including at least 3 years of experience working with an independent contractor program, along with a strong understanding of leisure travel operations and the premium and luxury travel market. You’re a relationship builder, strategic thinker, and effective communicator who understands and respects the entrepreneurial nature of independent travel advisors. Our ideal candidate is an experienced travel professional who is passionate about the industry and energized by building strong relationships. You have a strong understanding of the laws, regulations, and compliance considerations governing independent contractor relationships and programs, including worker classification, and understand the importance of maintaining appropriate boundaries between independent contractors and employees. You understand the unique needs of independent travel advisors and can balance regulatory compliance with providing meaningful resources and business support. You’re a collaborative, results-oriented leader who enjoys developing partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth, and creating an environment where independent advisors and the overall program can thrive.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leisure travel experience.
