About The Position
This role involves facilitating interpretation in a variety of subjects, including Medical, Business, and Education Settings. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and the target language, and comfortable with the consecutive interpretation process, with simultaneous interpretation being a plus. Experience with both face-to-face and remote interpreting is required. The role also requires adherence to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards and familiarity with HIPPA and Cultural Sensitivity trainings. Candidates must be prepared to undergo Livescan and Background Checks.
Requirements
- Be fluent in both English and target language
- Be Certified or be prepared to be tested in interpreted language
- Be prepared to have Livescan and Background Checks conducted
- Be familiar with HIPPA and Cultural Sensitivity trainings
- Adhere to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards
- Strong passion for interpreting and customer service.
