About The Position

The Manager, Implementations is responsible for managing a team of implementation professionals and providing leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure high-quality delivery across all client projects. Additionally, they will lead and coordinate client implementations of new DataSpring solutions, with a primary focus on Coordination of Benefits (COB) implementations while also supporting other DataSpring solution implementations as business needs require. This leader will serve as a trusted subject matter expert on COB implementation strategy, helping clients successfully adopt complex healthcare data exchange solutions while mentoring implementation team members supporting both COB and non-COB products. This position requires an ability to assess the needs of clients during the implementation process and to lead the solutioning process at DataSpring. This position interacts with and is an integral part of a team of professionals dedicated to the achievement of client satisfaction, revenue realization and long-term growth in line with DataSpring goals. The Manager, Implementations is a full-time, remote, exempt position and reports to the Director, Implementations.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Coordination of Benefits (COB), payer operations, healthcare data exchange, eligibility workflows, or related healthcare administrative processes.
Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and telephone communication skills with the ability to effectively move the client through the implementation process.
Ability to synthesize client needs and present DataSpring Solutions in a responsive manner.
Ability to handle multiple tasks seamlessly without reduction in quality.
Strong attention to detail and desire to provide resolution ensuring client satisfaction.
Ability to experience negative results and yet retain and sustain focus, professionalism, and enthusiasm for work and DataSpring products over an extended period.
Ability to interact, cooperate and work closely with all levels of internal and external colleagues.
Ability to work independently and sustain high level of motivation and enthusiasm.
Possesses a strong work ethic and desire to contribute individually, to the team, and organization.
Fully proficient with current CRM software as well as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
5+ years of experience implementing COB, payer operations, eligibility, claims, enrollment, provider data management, or other healthcare administrative technology solutions.
Demonstrated understanding of healthcare payer workflows, healthcare data exchange, or administrative transactions, with the ability to translate complex business processes into successful client implementations.
Experience supporting software developers and technical teams in client organizations as they adopt new solutions.
Experience managing and developing a team, including performance coaching, workload oversight, and supporting professional growth.
B.A./B.S. degree in Business, Healthcare, Technology, or related field required.

Responsibilities

Serve as the implementation lead for DataSpring's COB solution portfolio, providing guidance on implementation strategy, healthcare data exchange workflows, client best practices, operational readiness, and complex client scenarios while supporting knowledge sharing across the implementation organization.
Lead pivotal, high value clients through complex implementation projects, with an emphasis on COB solutions, by conducting training sessions using presentations and solution demonstrations; troubleshooting issues; and providing ongoing guidance, support, and answers to client questions to ensure successful adoption of all DataSpring solutions.
Serve as the implementation team's subject matter expert for COB solutions, partnering cross departmentally to prioritize enhancements, resolve client challenges, communicate product feedback, and support the continued evolution of DataSpring's COB offerings.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and resolving any issues that arise.
Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs, gather requirements, and customize implementation plans accordingly.
Collaborate with internal teams to design scalable implementation approaches that address client requirements, particularly for complex COB workflows, eligibility processes, and healthcare data integrations.
Recruit, train, and develop implementation team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to foster professional growth.
Establish and maintain quality standards for implementation processes, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance implementation methodologies, streamline processes, and optimize efficiency.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of implementation processes, configurations, and client-specific requirements for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, product development, and customer support teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with implementation projects, proactively addressing issues and escalating as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track implementation performance, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the implementation process.
Monitor resource utilization for capacity planning, scheduling, and allocation.
Performs other duties as assigned or as needed.
