Manager Imaging Services
About The Position
As a Manager, Imaging Services, you will oversee daily operations and strategic development of the imaging department, ensuring high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services. Every day you will manage imaging staff, monitor equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with radiologists and other departments to enhance service delivery and patient experience. To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership, technical proficiency, and strategic management skills, driving continuous improvement, quality control, and a collaborative environment for departmental success and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelors Other or a combination of education and/or additional imaging-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree
- Minimum of three (3) years of diagnostic imaging experience, upon hire
- Two (2) years of experience managing/supervising in a related imaging field
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
- Registered Vascular Technologist, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire
Responsibilities
- Manages the application of diagnostic imaging technology and regulatory standards.
- Adopts, develops and applies policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manages personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training, and effective communication.
- Manages the safety of diagnostic imaging service activities and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public.
