About The Position

The Manager, Imaging Multi-Modality leads supervisors overseeing Mammography, Ultrasound, Dexa, and X-ray services in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties. The role provides operational leadership to diagnostic imaging departments and directs operations and resources to support effective, efficient patient care in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. The manager establishes protocols and practices and ensures compliance with organizational policies, Joint Commission standards, and applicable laws and regulations. The role identifies best practices, standardizes workflows and processes, and develops plans to implement changes. It also manages capital and operational budgets, develops partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and provides guidance or direct intervention to resolve challenging or complex situations. Sutter Gould Medical Foundation is a not-for-profit health care organization serving communities in Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced counties through primary and specialty outpatient care.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in health care or business administration, or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree.
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
One applicable credential: ARRT-Radiography, CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist, ARDMS, NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT.
Eight years of recent relevant experience.
Solid understanding of imaging operations and workflows, including their impact on other departments.
Understanding of business and operational requirements and the healthcare financial environment.
Leadership skills, including team building, coaching, mentoring, and motivating others.
Clinical proficiency and knowledge to plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
Working knowledge of state, federal, and local requirements and accreditation standards, with the ability to interpret and implement them.
Ability to develop and manage a budget.
Understanding of age-specific patient needs.
Tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, including developing plans, identifying obstacles, and resolving operational issues.
Ability to build effective working partnerships with employees, peers, and leaders.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues and difficult circumstances, and make sound business decisions with little direction.
Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
