About The Position

The Manager II Engineering is responsible for program delivery and accountable as a technical sub owner for technical initiatives (10%). This role requires associates to be in-office 3-4 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related.
  • Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).
  • Five (5) years of experience leading project teams.
  • Five (5) years of experience with application software development; application maintenance; application implementation and support.
  • Three (3) years of experience with ServiceNow application; Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
  • One (1) year of experience with Workday or PeopleSoft software.

Responsibilities

  • Work with delivery teams on schedule, budget, and resource allocation to ensure all obstacles are removed for the delivery teams (5%).
  • Collaborate with vendors, internal partners, offshore partners, and business representatives to ensure successful implementation of programs for all business stakeholders (5%).
  • Plan, direct, and control resources and initiatives to accomplish the objectives and requirements defined by senior technology leadership and product management across multiple teams (5%).
  • Scope projects and ensure reasonable product delivery (10%).
  • Manage multiple systems and/or application products of varying complexity (5%).
  • Assist with budget development and deployment (10%).
  • Manage processes and receive assignments in the form of objectives and requirements from technology and product management to meet goals (5%).
  • Identify and resolve hurdles, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key business partners (10%).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to innovate new product enhancements or features being requested (5%).
  • Evaluate all directives, change orders, and projects as to their impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance (5%).
  • Oversee and implement new subsystems, procedures, and techniques; manage implementation/integration projects to ensure deliverables (10%).
  • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports (15%).
  • Will supervise 20 employees.
