Chemetics Inc. Worley Group is a diversified technology company that provides design and engineering solutions to the chloralkaline, sodium chlorate, chlorine dioxide, and sulphuric acid industries worldwide. It is a Company with a 60-year history in Vancouver with diverse cultures, talents, and highly skilled professionals. Chemetics operates a specialized alloy fabrication shop in Pickering, ON. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Inside Sales Coordinator. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based at our fabrication facility in Pickering, ON Canada. This role involves preparing quotations, processing orders, communicating with clients, coordinating with internal departments, and contributing to a positive customer experience. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering efficiency in the Nuclear industry of the future. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in always learning, thrives in a technical sales environment, understands engineered equipment, and excels at customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley Chemetics and its customers.
  • Work experience in one or more of the following areas: Nuclear industry, heat exchanger design, manufacturing design, or manufacturing estimating.
  • Elite leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn diverse aspects relating to design, estimating, proposals and contracts.
  • Interfacing with stakeholders, experts and managers across the fabrication operation to support accurate proposals and setup successful projects.
  • 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design, thermal design, or inside / technical sales in a nuclear, industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with engineered products, ASME Pressure Equipment, or technical documentation (assets: drawings, BOMs, specifications).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments and individuals with varied backgrounds and functions from Engineering, Project Management, Quality Control and Assurance, and Fabrication.
  • Strong communication skills for external Vendor and Customer engagement.
  • A recognized degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. B.A.Sc, M. Eng or M. A Sc. In Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering).

Responsibilities

  • Review and address Customer requests for quote and technical specifications and compliance to applicable Codes and Standards.
  • Prepare initial thermal and mechanical designs for equipment.
  • Prepare cost estimates.
  • Prepare sales proposals and align with customers on technical scope of supply and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively to pass on all relevant information to the project team.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to promote Chemetics' capabilities and fabrication expertise.
