About The Position

This role is responsible for managing HR services, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and providing support to employees and management. The position involves data analysis, job audits, maintaining HR documentation, and conducting investigations. The Manager - HR Services will also ensure fair treatment of employees and consistent application of policies and agreements.

Requirements

  • Experience in HRIS system auditing and data accuracy.
  • Ability to draft organizational charts and job descriptions.
  • Experience in maintaining and updating HR documentation.
  • Proficiency in report generation from Human Resources systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle employee issues with confidentiality.
  • Advisory skills for management on collective bargaining agreements, company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Experience in conducting investigations regarding employee matters.
  • Experience in preparing responses for EEOC complaints and Department of Human Services.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to provide effective and accurate feedback to employees and management.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, Labor & Employment Laws, and Company Regulations.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with and uphold company expectations including policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
  • Pull scheduled reports and review data for accuracy.
  • Perform salary data calculations and research employee salary transactions as requested.
  • Perform job audits to determine if any significant changes have occurred from previous evaluation and make necessary changes.
  • Audit HRIS system data regularly to ensure accuracy and make changes as needed.
  • Draft organizational charts and job descriptions for management review.
  • Maintain and update the compendium, organizational charts, and job descriptions.
  • Develop, prepare, and distribute reports from the Human Resources system as directed.
  • Handle various employee issues with confidentiality, using problem-solving skills as required.
  • Ensure fair treatment and a satisfactory employment experience by providing advisory services to management on interpretation and consistent application of collective bargaining agreements and of company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Conduct investigations regarding employee matters.
  • Prepare responses for EEOC complaints and Department of Human Services.
  • Provide reports as requested by Internal clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Provide both employees and management with an effective and accurate feedback network.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures (Federal, State, Labor & Employment Laws, and Company Regulations) are met with contract compliance.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
