Your Impact As the Manager of Housing Compliance at Fountain House, you will be a pivotal team member, developing systems and processes aimed at improving efficiency and maintaining high-quality documentation in our housing programs. You will be responsible for cross-team coordination and communication to ensure successful system implementation. You will bridge the gap between the voluntary nature of the clubhouse and the requirements and guidelines of our housing funders to ensure our residents needs are being met in a way that aligns with the clubhouse model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as experience with AWARDS and city/state reporting systems such as CAIRS, HRA/CAPS, and other relevant housing databases.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the clubhouse environment
  • Prior experience leading projects and/or system implementation to various groups.
  • Experience analyzing data and creating solutions across multiple teams.
  • Knowledge of the NYC housing guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the timely, accurate, and comprehensive documentation related to tenant admissions and discharges in Fountain House’s EHR system (currently AWARDS).
  • Monitor documentation used for Medicaid billing for CAP, Wanaque, and YACHT-CAP programs by managing the Medicaid trackers for billing and developing corrective action plans to ensure accuracy in accordance with housing contracts.
  • Manage internal and HUD housing program waitlists, ensuring that they are current, accurate, and compliant with the guidelines set by funders and housing policies.
  • Run Housing Waitlist check-ins/meetings as needed
  • Provide functional leadership and oversight to housing teams regarding compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual documentation.
  • Monitor and provide guidance to housing teams regarding documentation and compliance, including training, performance monitoring, and workflow coordination.
  • Serve as lead housing compliance resource for the Senior Directors of Scattered Site Housing, Housing and Programming, and QA and Compliance.
  • Implement and oversee internal QA checks for all housing programs
  • Monitor guidelines from OMH to ensure we remain in compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with Encore Community Center by checking in at site weekly to connect with members on TE and Fountain House staff to ensure smooth training, support, and communication across all teams and to maintain quality and quantity of TEs.
  • Other related tasks and work assigned by the Director of Compliance
