About The Position

This role is based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA, Dallas, TX, or Remote in the US. This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Manager of Portfolio Strategy you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Hotel Level Marketing team reporting to the Senior Manager of Portfolio Strategy and working closely with the Manager of Portfolio Strategy Enablement, you will provide strategic guidance, education and enablement with hotel level and above property Marketing leaders.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of professional work experience
  • Three (3) years of marketing experience
  • Demonstrated success in communicating and aligning with senior-level leaders
  • Experience creating education or enablement materials
  • Travel up to 10% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing a hotel at the property level or for a hospitality company
  • Experience navigating a complex matrixed environment
  • Experience working with agencies and media or creative brief writing

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for Marketing for key internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic guidance aligning with our commercial priorities
  • Support marketing education and enablement, developing resources and trainings for our hotel level and above property Marketing leaders
  • Support the Senior Manager and Director of Portfolio Strategy with proactive projects to drive Marketing performance and adoption of strategic priorities
  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management leaders to identify areas of opportunity to grow digital performance for an identified portfolio of hotels and management companies
  • Coordinate with internal teams on best practices and identify areas of opportunity to drive impactful performance
  • Work in a collaborative team environment developing training opportunities, new tools, best practices sharing, and the annual Hotel Level Marketing Summit.
  • Regular connections with above property leaders in alignment with Sales and Revenue Management delivering guidance and strategic consulting
  • Support the delivery of annual budget guidance that aligns with our commercial priorities
  • Develop resources, training and enablement materials
  • Lead other Ad-Hoc projects (as applicable)
