About The Position

The Manager, HEOR will lead multi-disciplinary research teams and provide HEOR expertise and strategic leadership at all stages of projects from planning to communication. These results are achieved by executing projects that exceed client expectations while remaining on-time, on-budget, determining and managing project scope, timelines, and budget for several competing projects, developing and reviewing materials for accuracy, consistency, quality, and conformity to EVERSANA standards, and proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans. This role also provides leadership to ensure projects are underpinned by strong and defendable HEOR concepts and methods, and ensures projects adhere to high standards of pharmacoeconomic analysis and health technology assessment. Additionally, the Manager, HEOR will build and maintain strong business relationships with clients, identify and communicate opportunities for future collaborations, develop proposals, budgets, and timelines, promote a positive and energetic work environment through healthy and effective communication, a strong work ethic, and professional conduct, identify and develop best practices and tools for project execution and management, and contribute to decisions regarding company direction and growth, staffing of projects, and project workload. The role also demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. People leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values. In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above, this role also includes assigning and reviewing work, offering technical and professional guidance, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards, coaching junior staff on project execution and development of core skills, participating in the Performance Improvement Plan process, working alongside reporting managers to provide input and feedback on junior team members’ performance, collaborating cross-functionally to coordinate project delivery, resources, and priorities, and influencing team outcomes through project planning and execution, rather than formal line management.

Requirements

  • MSc in a Life Science discipline, Epidemiology, Health Economics or related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ direct work experience in health economics, health technology assessment, or a related field
  • Strong basis in cost-effectiveness model design, analysis and interpretation.
  • Experience with HTA submissions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, demands, and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage personal and project team members’ time across competing projects
  • Proven ability to identify and respond to different communication and work styles of team members and contractors
  • Demonstrated leadership, teambuilding and team-motivating skills
  • Demonstrated planning and decision-making skills
  • Strong strategic, problem solving, and analytical abilities
  • Proven relationship building capabilities; developing and maintaining strong client relationships, effectively interacting with peers
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
