About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Corrections, the Manager, Health Services is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing the delivery of health services across Nunavut’s correctional facilities. The position ensures that all care provided to clients aligns with applicable legislation, territorial policies, professional health standards, and Inuit societal values. Working collaboratively with internal staff and external health partners, the Manager ensures that safe, consistent, and client-centered health services are accessible to all individuals in custody.

Requirements

Experience in health services management.
Knowledge of applicable legislation, territorial policies, and professional health standards.
Understanding of Inuit societal values.
Ability to collaborate with internal staff and external health partners.
Client-centered approach to service delivery.

Nice To Haves

Experience working within a correctional facility setting.
Familiarity with the Inuktut language.
