We are seeking a Manager, Health Plan Technical Delivery to lead a team responsible for delivering healthcare data integrations across trading partners, vendors, and direct submitters. This is a high-impact leadership role that blends people management, technical expertise, and delivery ownership. This individual will oversee the end-to-end implementation lifecycle—from requirements and configuration through testing, go-live, and post-production support—while serving as a key escalation point for complex delivery and client issues. The role requires strong technical acumen in healthcare data (X12/HIPAA), the ability to operate in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, and the leadership presence to guide teams through high-pressure situations while maintaining confidence with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with healthcare data standards, including X12 and HIPAA transactions
  • Experience with clearinghouse models, trading partners, and data flow across systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, priorities, and escalations
  • 3+ years demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing technical teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments (not strictly “by the book”)
  • Comfortable handling high-pressure situations and customer escalations with confidence and composure

  • Experience leading teams responsible for implementation lifecycle delivery (requirements through production)

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a team of Implementation Analysts, including coaching, performance management, and regular 1:1s
  • Partnering in a co-manager model to balance team workload, support delivery, and ensure team success
  • Overseeing implementation delivery from intake through production and warranty support, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for complex client and production issues, driving resolution across teams
  • Supporting release cycles, including occasional evening or weekend involvement when needed
  • Driving improvements across processes, workflows, and tools to increase team efficiency and performance
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to address system gaps and improve delivery outcomes
