About The Position

This role involves leading the GTM Systems Engineering team at Redis, which is responsible for designing, building, and running the Salesforce platform and integrated systems that power the company's global go-to-market engine. The position requires managing a team of Salesforce developers and full-stack engineers, setting engineering standards for scalability and reliability, and driving the adoption of AI-assisted development. The Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team collaborates across departments to ensure effective, efficient, and scalable go-to-market strategies. In this role, you will be the senior engineering voice, accountable for the engineering approach.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software or Salesforce engineering, including hands-on development with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
  • 2+ years of people management experience leading engineers or developers
  • Working fluency in at least one general-purpose stack – Python and/or Ruby on Rails – and sound judgment about what belongs in Salesforce versus external services
  • A track record of implementing engineering best practices in a Salesforce context: Git-based version control, CI/CD, code review, and automated testing
  • Demonstrated personal use of AI coding tools to accelerate your own development work, and a point of view on how to roll them out responsibly across a team
  • Experience running an agile engineering workflow (e.g., Jira): sprint management, estimation, and balancing roadmap delivery against run/maintenance work
  • Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integrations with Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application or System Architect)
  • Experience hiring and managing hybrid onshore/offshore engineering teams
  • Experience integrating LLM-based automation or agents into GTM systems (e.g., MCP servers, agent-first workflows)
  • Experience with PLG/PLS, on-demand, and/or Cloud business models
  • Familiarity with platforms across the Salesforce ecosystem (sales engagement, call recording/coaching, forecasting, CPQ, CLM, data vendors, data visualization, data orchestration)

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and mentor a global team of Salesforce developers and full-stack engineers (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Python, Ruby on Rails), including hybrid onshore/offshore resources
  • Own engineering best practices across the GTM stack: code review standards, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, sandbox and release management, automated testing, and a long-term technical debt agenda
  • Act as the design reviewer for significant platform changes – data model evolution, automation patterns, integration architecture, and security model – ensuring everything we build scales with the business
  • Drive adoption of AI coding tools and agentic development workflows across the team; establish guardrails and quality standards, and measure their impact on delivery velocity and code quality
  • Manage the engineering workflow end to end: intake and scoping, sprint planning and estimation, prioritization against the Salesforce roadmap, incident and escalation management, and stakeholder communication
  • Partner with our GTM Operations Leaders and GTM Systems Program Owners to translate business requirements into well-scoped, actionable engineering work
  • Own the integration patterns connecting Salesforce to adjacent systems (CPQ, sales engagement, marketing automation, data orchestration, internal applications), deciding what should be native to Salesforce versus built externally in Python or Rails services
  • Establish metrics for system health, delivery velocity, and incident resolution, and proactively detect and resolve issues before they reach users
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across the Salesforce ecosystem

Benefits

  • Competitive salaries and equity grants
  • Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life balance
  • Health insurance
  • Paid paternity leave
  • Pension plan
  • Flexible working options
  • Yearly health and wellness budget for a healthy mind and body
  • Frequent team celebrations and recreation events
  • Home internet & phone stipend
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Ability to influence a high-performance company on its way to IPO
