The Ground Operations team drives global development, implementation and adoption of the standards and best practices for ground and baggage operations. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data /Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience, of which at least 3 in systems administration, data integration, data governance, and business intelligence
  • Strong understanding of BI, analytics, data platforms, and user testing (UAT) to drive measurable outcomes
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL, Python, Power BI, Snowflake, and enterprise data environments, as well as data governance and catalog tools such as Collibra
  • Experience with translating business requirements into meaningful reports and visualizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with business acumen and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with audit management, audit planning, documentation management, business social platforms, and Salesforce is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Ground Operations Data Steward by managing data quality, coordinating the resolution of data warehouse issues, and ensuring the integrity, consistency, and availability of business data.
  • Monitor data pipelines to identify issues, ensure stability, and continuously improve data and analytics processes.
  • Drive the integration of data across multiple business systems and data warehouses, using SQL, Snowflake, and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra) to retrieve, validate, and govern data.
  • Define business requirements for Power BI dashboards, translating business needs into meaningful KPIs and metrics that enable performance tracking, benchmarking, and actionable business insights.
  • Drive effective use, maintenance, and enhancement of multiple Ground Operations tools and systems (e.g. Salesforce, Intelex) with the ability to connect the dots across data, processes, and technologies to enable integrated solutions.
  • Document data flows, business rules, and system dependencies to ensure transparency, consistency, and maintainability of solutions.
  • Define and implement system enhancements by gathering business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting deployment with business owners, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve and automate Ground Operations processes using data, AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
