About The Position

The Manager - Global Performance Marketing Technology is responsible for shaping and stewarding global Performance Marketing technology capabilities. The role connects marketing strategy with technology execution by defining capability roadmaps, aligning platform and data strategies, enabling scalable operating models, and ensuring investments are tied to measurable business outcomes. Key areas of scope include Strategic Partnering & Right-Hand Leadership, Driving Marketing Capability Transformation, Evolution through AI Strategy, Marketing Technology Enablement, Business Strategy to Capability Execution, Data Activation & Measurement, Business Process & Requirements Analysis, and Technology Governance & Capability Stewardship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as MBA, MS, or relevant digital / technology qualification strongly preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in Marketing Technology, Performance Marketing, CRM, Digital Marketing Operations, Marketing Analytics, MarTech/AdTech, or related technology strategy disciplines, including at least 5 years in strategic planning, transformation, or technology leadership roles.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders and leading cross-functional technology strategy initiatives without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to translate marketing strategy into capability roadmaps, business processes, technology requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing workflows, including campaign planning, paid media activation, audience management, tagging, analytics, reporting, optimization, and experimentation.
  • Experience partnering with architects, delivery teams, data teams, security, privacy, and business stakeholders to validate feasibility, integration patterns, scalability, and compliance considerations.
  • Ability to operate across business and technology teams, translating complex needs into structured strategies, roadmaps, and executable plans.
  • Demonstrated executive communication, structured problem-solving, stakeholder influence, and ability to drive alignment across functions and regions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Life Sciences strongly preferred, ideally within medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated global organizations.
  • Experience in large medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer, or regulated global organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing platforms, marketing automation, campaign operations, CDP / CRM integrations, marketing analytics modernization, tagging frameworks, consent-aware data activation, or AI-enabled marketing workflows. Leveraging platforms such as Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Braze, Veeva PromoMats, Databricks, PowerBI.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), personalization technologies, and first-party data activation strategies preferred.
  • Experience working with global and regional marketing teams, media agencies, analytics teams, product owners, enterprise architects, and delivery teams.
  • Proven ability to operate as a right-hand strategic partner to senior leadership.
  • Previous consulting experience is preferred, with demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, advise senior stakeholders, and drive business-aligned technology outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance to Marketing and Digital teams on how technology can enhance global Performance Marketing capabilities and co-create roadmaps anchored in measurable value.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the business use of marketing technology platforms, personalization and media activation tools, campaign operations capabilities, analytics solutions, and related integrations.
  • Partner with analytics, data, privacy, and platform teams to enable reliable measurement, reporting, audience activation, tagging strategy, and optimization capabilities.
  • Champion innovation, simplification, standardization, and responsible experimentation across the performance marketing technology landscape.
  • Recommend solutions aligned to business strategy and enterprise architecture; translate marketing requirements into feasible designs with integration and compliance awareness.
  • Partner with PMO, Finance, Marketing, Digital, Data, and regional stakeholders to manage portfolio scope, capacity, risks, value, and sequencing.
  • Orchestrate alignment across Performance Marketing, Customer Experience, eCommerce, CRM, Data / Analytics, Privacy, Legal, IT delivery, agencies, and regional teams to avoid fragmentation and accelerate adoption.
