About The Position

This role is for an innovative team that supports Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions. The position reports to the Director, SARA Engineering and is located at Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The role is Hybrid, involving a mix of on-site and remote days, typically within the same week. Travel in the role could be 10 to 20%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Electrical or Civil Engineer)
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) plants.
  • Experience making presentations and facilitating meetings.
  • Desire to lead others through mentoring, teaching, and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership for the Global Engineering Catalyst cohort, which includes engineers in a structured rotational program designed to develop broad organizational capability before long-term role placement. The program consists of three rotations over a 24-month period.
  • Ensure purposeful rotation planning, performance feedback, and development tracking according to Global Engineering priorities.
  • Integrate feedback from Global Engineering leadership to improve Catalyst project assignments, development outcomes, and program effectiveness.
  • Lead the implementation of an annual University Recruiting Strategy and Internship Program with Global Engineering leadership and HR partners across all engineering pillars.
  • Act as a liaison for Global Engineering to build a data-driven, enterprise-wide university engagement strategy that strengthens talent pipelines globally.
  • Oversee the execution of the internship program as a primary feeder for full-time hiring, with a focus on increasing conversion of interns into full-time engineering roles.
  • Collaborate across Global Engineering to ensure agreement between workforce planning, recruiting strategies, and long-term talent development needs.
  • Communicate with peers, senior leadership, and important partners to guide understanding, transparency, and results.
