A Day in the Life Our Cardiac Rhythm Management team is looking for an Engineering Program Manager. This is a hybrid role within PCS Quality driving program management and executing reliability engineering tasks/oversight as needed. Our Purpose - the Cardiac Rhythm Management Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. We are comprised of four key businesses: Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Defibrillation Solutions, Patient Management, and Procedure Innovations. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. We are working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • U.S. work authorization sponsorship (H-1B, TN, J, etc.) is offered exclusively for Principal-level roles and above, where specialized expertise aligns with long-term business needs. Roles below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs and implements specific projects within the Patient Care Systems Quality function.
  • Will be a key contributor as we develop, track, and implement our FY27 strategy in collaboration with the PCS function.
  • May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
  • Oversees the investigation and post-market reliability for products within the Patient Care Systems product portfolio. This will include managing product investigations, developing product risk profiles, publishing Health Risk Assessments, etc.
  • Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, processes, and strategies for the team and will lead implementation as directed.
  • Directs the development of new concepts or strategies from initial design to implementation within the team/function.
  • Delivers status updates, weekly scorecards, and communicates project status to all levels of the organization, including upper-level leadership.
  • Organizes the coordination of activities both within the team and cross functionally to ensure timely delivery.
