Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Western Union will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or business transformation.
  • 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives with executive-level stakeholders.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting quantitative business analysis, financial modeling, business case development, or strategic performance analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience developing executive presentations and communications for senior leadership audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with 2+ years of experience building complex analyses, dashboards, financial models, and executive presentations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience conducting market assessments, competitive intelligence, M&A evaluations, or long-range strategic planning initiatives.
  • Experience within financial services, fintech, payments, banking, remittances, or digital commerce industries.
  • Experience in a corporate strategy function within a global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual and multi-year enterprise strategic planning process, including coordination across business units, executive stakeholders, and governance forums.
  • Partner with senior leaders to define, align, and refine enterprise-wide strategic priorities and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and business objectives.
  • Establish governance, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation processes to drive accountability and successful delivery.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to evaluate business performance, strategic opportunities, and market trends.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, business cases, dashboards, and recommendations for senior leadership, Executive Committee, and Board-level audiences.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across business units and functions to drive alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
  • Provide guidance and influence to cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support enterprise strategy initiatives.
