About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a US Remote Based Genetic Counseling Manager to join our team! This role involves supervising a team of Genetic Counselors, managing staffing and coverage, planning for growth, ensuring adherence to SOPs and Policies, and overseeing training, competency, and continuing education. The position also provides support to MFM clients in the Southeast and co-manages the Specialty Results Counseling program. Client management includes GC coverage, client satisfaction, and collaborations with Sales. A significant portion of the role, at least 25% of the time, will involve providing direct genetic counseling services.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
• American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification
• 3 years or more as a certified Genetic Counselor
• Highly organized, including excellent time management skills
• Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Application

Nice To Haves

• 2 years or more of patient-facing genetic counseling experience
• 1 year or more of supervisory or lead experience
