Requirements

  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or alternative asset investment roles.
  • Strong skills in analysis, accounting, and administration for alternative investment funds.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran.
  • Effective communication skills in collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and train fund accountants.
  • Oversee the allocation of daily and monthly activities.
  • Independently handle client relationships to ensure service quality and satisfaction.
  • Review and occasionally prepare complex monthly client reports.
  • Manage client relationships independently, ensuring service quality and satisfaction across all deliverables.
  • Train and allocate tasks to fund accountants, overseeing daily, monthly, and annual responsibilities.
  • Ensure accurate reporting by preparing financial statements and maintaining books for clients with complex operations.
  • Oversee valuations and reconciliations, analyzing investment activity to meet deadlines for investor and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors, validating accounts and supporting year-end audits and tax returns.
