About The Position

ONEOK is seeking a Manager, Fuel Advocacy to lead strategic product quality initiatives that strengthen asset performance, operational reliability, and commercial outcomes. This role involves partnering with various teams (Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance, ESH, Compliance, and Risk) to establish quality practices, analyze trends, resolve issues, and translate technical insights into business strategies. The manager will guide cross-functional programs, identify risk reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities, and act as a trusted advisor. This position includes leading one direct report and focuses on developing talent through coaching, performance management, and providing technical guidance. The goal is to foster an environment of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement to advance ONEOK's operational and commercial objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field typically required.
  • 10+ years of experience in asset optimization, commercial operations, engineering, or related field typically required.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level programs or initiatives.
  • Knowledge of asset optimization concepts, performance management, and quality frameworks.
  • Knowledge of commercial operations in oil & gas, including pipelines, facilities, and market dynamics.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, performance metrics, and reporting systems.
  • Skills in strategic thinking and ability to influence enterprise-level decisions.
  • Skills in advanced data analysis and translating insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Skills in program and project leadership across complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Skills in communication and stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead large-scale initiatives with enterprise-level impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of enterprise quality programs aligned with asset optimization and commercial objectives.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards, frameworks, and governance processes across assets and operations.
  • Ensure consistency in quality practices, processes, and performance expectations across multiple business units.
  • Influence strategic decisions related to asset performance, reliability, and optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Engineering teams to optimize asset performance and maximize value.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce losses, and enhance operational reliability.
  • Support development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives across pipeline and facility operations.
  • Evaluate asset performance trends and recommend strategies to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Lead analysis of performance, quality, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and support reporting frameworks, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive operational and commercial decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity and alignment across systems supporting asset optimization activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to asset performance, operational quality, and commercial processes.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives related to operational quality and performance.
  • Partner with ESH, Compliance, and Risk teams to align quality programs with enterprise risk management strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate large-scale, cross-functional programs impacting multiple regions, assets, or business units.
  • Develop program roadmaps, timelines, and success metrics aligned with business priorities.
  • Monitor program performance and ensure delivery of expected outcomes and value.
  • Drive accountability for program execution across stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on quality, performance, and asset optimization strategies.
  • Influence decision-making across Commercial, Operations, Engineering, and Finance functions.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to drive alignment and execution.
  • Communicate program outcomes, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and tools supporting asset optimization and quality management.
  • Promote continuous improvement methodologies and best practices across the organization.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support integration activities related to acquisitions to ensure consistent quality standards and processes.
