The Manager, Franchise Onboarding, Popeyes, US&C, leads the end-to-end onboarding of new franchise partners, ensuring a seamless transition from deal execution through restaurant conversion and opening, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Real Estate, and reporting to the Director, Franchising and Business Development. Success in the role is defined by the ability to coordinate internal teams and external partners, manage franchise agreements, and execute tailored onboarding plans with clear timelines and milestones, while maintaining proactive communication and visibility into progress. This role also drives continuous improvement of onboarding processes and builds strong franchisee relationships to support long-term success. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our Miami, FL office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, Finance, or other related disciplines
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience, project management experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups (franchisees, vendors and other internal stakeholders (Tech, Legal, Business Services, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office core product suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Owns contract management and execution for new franchise agreements
  • Manages the end-to-end franchise onboarding process, including the development and execution of individualized conversion plans, timelines, and goals
  • Provides clear, proactive communication to franchisees and cross-functional stakeholders regarding timelines, deliverables, key milestones, and dependencies throughout the onboarding process
  • Contributes insights and recommendations to support the ongoing refinement of franchise onboarding and acquisition strategies
  • Works cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure restaurant portfolios transfer smoothly and conversion activities are executed efficiently
  • Builds and fosters trusted relationships with prospective franchisees, guiding them through requirements, expectations, and next steps throughout the onboarding journey
