About The Position

This leadership position involves leading and coordinating interprofessional teams that provide hospital and community-based clinical services, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, to patients under the Ontario Review Board (ORB) and living in the community. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, human resource management (recruitment, performance management), team planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The role also involves collaborating with Professional Practice Leaders to identify and develop staff educational requirements, providing supervision to clinical teams, and implementing evidence-based practices. Additionally, the position supports budget planning and monitoring, facilitates the implementation of the CAMH Strategic Plan, participates in planning and project work, and contributes to the CAMH redevelopment plan. The Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure inpatient services align with program and organizational objectives, vision, mission, and values. The role may also involve participating in and representing Management in negotiations with Bargaining Agents, supporting a psychologically healthy and safe environment, and fostering a diverse and collaborative workplace that complies with regulatory and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate interprofessional teams providing hospital and community-based clinical services
