About The Position

The Manager Food & Nutrition assists in planning, coordinating, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operation of food services, including scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and production. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies and serves as a culinary resource. Duties support optimal patient care, including the safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department, budgetary requirements, and compliance with HACCP guidelines and department policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current food safety certification from an accredited organization.
• Two years of experience in food service operations.
• Computer and software proficiency.
• Obtain the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential within six months of hire.
• County-specific Food Handlers certification upon hire and maintain it as current.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare food service experience.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts from an accredited Culinary Institute.
