Reporting to the Sr. Director, Financial Systems, the Manager, Financial Systems serves as the owner for enterprise financial systems, including ERP administration and governance, and partners with Finance and technology teams to deliver the financial systems project portfolio. This role owns ERP support and optimization and leads requirements, prioritization, execution, testing, reporting enablement, and delivery activities across ERP, budgeting, planning, reporting, and related financial applications. The successful candidate combines strong finance and accounting acumen with hands-on ERP ownership, business analysis discipline, program delivery skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial systems, ERP ownership or administration, business analysis, finance transformation, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP experience required; experience with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, Prophix, or similar budgeting and planning applications preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering and managing business and functional requirements, facilitating stakeholder sessions, documenting process flows, and translating business needs into functional specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating multiple concurrent ERP or financial systems projects, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, reporting initiatives, UAT, change management, and process improvement efforts.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, finance operations, internal controls, and data governance required.
  • ERP ownership, administration, and financial systems support, with NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Financial reporting, analytics, data validation, and dashboard development.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel; SQL reporting and data analysis; Power BI or similar business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Business process mapping, requirements documentation, UAT planning, and workflow analysis.
  • Data governance, data quality management, system controls, and access management.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, stakeholder management, and program/project delivery skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, master's degree, CBAP, PMI-PBA, NetSuite Administrator, NetSuite ERP Consultant, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, or related certification preferred.
  • Healthcare, multi-entity, shared services, or large distributed operating environment experience preferred.
  • Snowflake and Microsoft SQL Server administration or performance tuning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day ERP and financial systems administration, support, configuration, enhancement, and optimization, including NetSuite, Prophix, and related applications.
  • Maintain system configurations, workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, integrations, documentation, and user access requirements.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate resolution with IT, vendors, consultants, and business users, and minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Serve as the primary financial systems owner for system functionality, business process design, and system governance.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Procurement, Treasury, Revenue Cycle, Operations, and IT stakeholders to gather, document, validate, and prioritize requirements for financial systems projects and enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, test scripts, and implementation documentation for technical teams, consultants, vendors, and system administrators.
  • Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, integrations, enhancements, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, deployment readiness, training, and adoption activities.
  • Maintain portfolio visibility by coordinating communication between business and technical teams and tracking deliverables, decisions, risks, defects, dependencies, and enhancement requests through completion.
  • Define, develop, and support financial and operational reporting solutions using ERP reporting tools, SQL-based reporting environments, business intelligence platforms, and related data models.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, mapping, conversion, reconciliation, and quality control activities to ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and consistent.
  • Support role-based security administration, segregation of duties reviews, audit requests, internal control requirements, and documentation supporting financial systems governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting requirements, analytics needs, and enterprise reporting priorities.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to automate manual work, standardize processes, improve data accuracy, strengthen controls, and accelerate finance and accounting workflows, including month-end close activities.
  • Support workflow automation, integration solutions, business process governance, and best practices for financial systems utilization.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to business users regarding financial system functionality and process standards.
