About The Position

The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis at Walmart leads comprehensive financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to support strategic business decisions. Our team serves as the financial planning and analytics center of excellence for Walmart U.S., delivering precise forecasts, actionable insights, and enterprise-wide financial guidance to support key business decisions. We collaborate across functions to enhance forecast accuracy, streamline planning processes, and increase visibility into performance. The team designs and implements automation and scalable tools to reduce manual tasks, enabling focus on strategic priorities. Beyond reporting, we identify process improvements and lead executive-level financial discussions, providing in-depth analysis and forward-looking insights that drive informed decision-making and better business outcomes at scale.

Requirements

Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial statement analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and key performance indicators.
Proven experience in predictive analytics, financial modeling, and applying statistical techniques to support business planning.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and automation tools to enhance data analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication skills to present complex financial insights clearly to executive audiences.
Demonstrated capability in driving continuous improvement and implementing process enhancements.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related area and 1 year's experience in financial planning and analysis or related area.
3 years' experience in financial planning and analysis or related area.
