As the Revenue Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing revenue, guiding Revenue analysts, and partnering with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5 years relevant accounting experience, including public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842
- Experience performing month-end close procedures
- Experience supporting SOX environments and external audits
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice To Haves
- CPA license
- 8 years of experience, including public accounting experience
- Experience managing and developing people
- Experience with ERP systems including Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Power BI, Blackline, and Copilot
- Experience in the logistics industry
Responsibilities
- Manage and be a key member of a team covering, but not limited to, the following:
- Review customer contracts to identify terms that impact revenue recognition, lease accounting, etc.
- Analyze and calculate revenue accruals during the monthly financial close process
- Analyze revenue, investigate, and resolve variances during the monthly financial close process
- Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations
- Partner cross functionally to understand the implications of customer negotiations
- Perform ad hoc reporting to support multiple stakeholders in a cross functional matrix environment
- Perform and ensure key internal controls over the Revenue Accounting process are in place and function effectively
- Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and monitor meaningful KPIs that drive continuous improvement
