About The Position

As Manager, Finance, you will serve as the primary finance business partner to Jostens’ Chief Digital Officer, providing financial leadership, strategic modeling, forecasting, and decision support for the IT, Marketing and Digital organizations. This role thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys partnering directly with executive leadership to influence business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or business partnership roles.
  • Extensive experience building complex financial models involving revenue projections, cost drivers, and investment analysis.
  • Strong understanding of business unit financial performance, profitability analysis, and revenue reporting.
  • Experience supporting online channels, digital investments, media spend, and partnership marketing.
  • Understanding of IT capital expenditure planning and accounting treatment for internal-use software investments.
  • Previous experience managing, coaching, and developing finance professionals.
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts and recommendations to both executive and non-financial audiences.
  • Strong accounting knowledge combined with business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using planning and reporting tools such as Workday Adaptive, Incorta, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and drive results across multiple organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred CPA, CMA, MBA, or related advanced credential.
  • Preferred experience/proficiency with Oracle ERP system and Resource planning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead finance partner to the CDO and SVP of IT. Provide financial guidance, modeling, and strategic support to the Chief Digital Officer, SVP of IT and leadership teams.
  • Develop complex financial models and business cases. Analyze revenue opportunities, cost structures, staffing plans, and investment scenarios to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with executive leaders on planning and forecasting. Support annual planning, monthly forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
  • Analyze and support IT performance. Provide reporting and insights on IT Spend, Internally Developed Software, and Enterprise IT Projects.
  • Lead financial reporting and analysis. Develop reports and presentations that communicate key trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives and projects. Serve as the finance subject matter expert on project teams by providing cost analysis, financial modeling, and technical accounting guidance.
  • Manage expense planning and reporting. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual expense reporting while identifying key business drivers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure financial compliance and controls. Maintain adherence to accounting standards, SOX requirements, and internal control processes.
  • Develop and mentor finance talent. Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to up to two direct reports.
