About The Position

Affinity Group Canada is seeking a passionate and creative Corporate Chef to join their team. This role will support the sales team by bringing food and beverage products to life for customers in foodservice, retail, and institutional segments. The Corporate Chef will play a key role in showcasing products, developing innovative menu ideas, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. This position offers a blend of hands-on culinary work and direct customer interaction.

Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen, culinary sales, or foodservice distribution
  • Strong understanding of foodservice operations and menu development
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
  • Creative with a strong understanding of food trends
  • Confident presenter with strong communication skills
  • Ability to turn culinary ideas into sales opportunities
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Positive, professional, and team-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Results-driven with a sense of ownership
  • Confident representing brands and engaging with customers

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a food broker or manufacturer is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team to promote products to existing and prospective customers
  • Lead engaging product demonstrations, tastings, and presentations
  • Develop creative recipes and menu concepts that highlight client products
  • Provide hands-on culinary training and support to operators, distributors, and internal teams
  • Act as a brand ambassador with strong knowledge of products and their positioning
  • Support new product launches, including concept development and customer presentations
  • Participate in food shows, trade events, and customer events
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant demo or test kitchen
