About The Position

The Pricing Manager leads a team of pricing professionals responsible for developing compliant and accurate cost proposals that support critical customer missions and drive strategic business growth. This role partners closely with Business Development, Program Management, Contracts, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to deliver high quality proposals that meet customer requirements and comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and company policies. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who enjoys developing talent, driving process improvements, and influencing business outcomes in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading government proposals.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Aptitude to read and understand complex requirement documents.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with ProPricer or other pricing software tools.
  • Prior leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills; self-directed and proactive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pricing professionals by providing coaching, performance management, career development, and technical guidance to foster a high-performing organization.
  • Oversee the development, review, and approval of cost proposals, pricing strategies, and Basis of Estimate (BOE) packages from cross-functional organizations to validate assumptions, evaluate cost realism, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TINA), and company policies and procedures throughout the pricing process.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing standardized pricing processes, tools, templates, and best practices that improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Support customer negotiations, audit activities, and fact-finding sessions by preparing pricing analyses, responding to data requests, and presenting cost and pricing rationale to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence while ensuring the pricing organization is aligned with business objectives and positioned to support long-term growth.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%).
