About The Position

The Manager, Finance (Gross to Net) will be responsible for managing accrual processes, financial closing activities, reporting, and compliance related to revenue and billing. This role involves working with various systems and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate net sales calculations, contract maintenance, and financial reporting. Additionally, the position will lead working capital optimization efforts and provide financial support for FP&A. Key responsibilities include managing accrual rates, monitoring rebate agreements, calculating daily net sales, overseeing PGI issues, performing trial balance reviews, and ensuring account reconciliation compliance. The role also involves supporting external and internal audits, managing contract pricing, and resolving revenue billing issues. Furthermore, the Manager will oversee SSA/Price Protection Accruals, chargeback reviews, membership exception reviews, and contract maintenance with sales and marketing teams. Specific focus areas include Brand and Specialty Business reviews, managing GTN for acquired/divested products, and supporting the Medicaid process. FP&A support includes providing insights, maintaining GTN rates for EPM, and reviewing Average Selling Prices (ASP). The role also contributes to automation projects and data analytics. In the area of Working Capital, the Manager will lead initiatives to optimize DSO and present findings to management. This includes explaining variances between actuals and budget and tracking goals over various timeframes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and / or Finance
  • 5 + years of Gross to net experience in Generic or Brand Pharmaceuticals.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to provide insights and gain alignment in all GTN matters / Trends to ensure a no surprise environment.
  • Experience researching, documenting and operationalizing accounting treatment for complex customer agreements.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and determine creative solutions to problems.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and external parties, as necessary.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency about solving problems, ability to meet challenging deadlines and the willingness to achieve critical goals even in difficult situations.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PPT and words

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in accounting / finance is plus.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS and other accounting and reporting standards is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP accounting systems will be plus.
