About The Position

Under the direction of the Director – Finance, Global Supply Chain, the Manager – Finance, Global Transportation provides financial support for global transportation, including inbound freight, customer delivery, and interplant freight. The role owns annual financial planning and monthly forecasting, and provides financial analysis for strategic transportation projects. The position is onsite in Kohler, Wisconsin, four days per week.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting or Finance is the minimum requirement.
• Strong communication ability to engage with broad organizational levels in a financial and managerial capacity.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of SAP or an equivalent ERP system, Excel, and BPC.

Responsibilities

• Own global transportation forecasting, the annual operating plan, and long-range strategic planning processes.
• Lead monthly forecasting activities for North America and support global transportation planning requirements across business units.
• Consolidate, analyze, and communicate transportation financial performance against plan, forecast, and prior-year results.
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations for supply chain and finance leadership.
• Serve as the lead finance business partner for Transportation, Distribution, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership teams.
• Support transportation sourcing events, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations through financial analysis and modeling.
• Develop scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to assess impacts from market conditions, fuel trends, customer demand changes, and network redesign activities.
• Identify transportation cost drivers, risks, and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct special studies and projects under the direction of the Director – Finance, Global Supply Chain.
