About The Position

Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities. Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs. Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance. Supervises the daily activities of support staff or production team members. Must have one direct report or more. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Problem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager. Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems.
  • Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
  • Tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion.
  • Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects.
  • Maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws.
  • May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
