About The Position

Manager, Facilities Operations at Kite Pharma is responsible for leading all Move, Add, Change (MAC) activities, developing and managing the site MAC roadmap, and owning MAC schedules, dependencies, and execution plans to minimize operational disruption. This role also involves executing seating plans, translating test fits into executable plans, and validating space plans against operational and safety constraints. Additionally, the Manager will provide site input into master planning, develop and evaluate space and move scenarios, and maintain accurate CAFM space, occupancy, and asset data. The position also includes managing small to mid-scale workplace, employee experience, and facilities projects, coordinating vendors, schedules, scopes, and budgets, and tracking risks, milestones, and delivery commitments. A key aspect of this role is leading change management activities related to moves and restacks, delivering clear communications to stakeholders, and mitigating impacts to manufacturing operations during change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in facilities management, change management, workplace services, space planning support, or facilities project coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience leading workplace projects.
  • Experience partnering with space planning, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent moves and projects.
  • Working knowledge of MAC processes, space planning execution, and facilities project delivery.
  • Ability to read and interpret space plans, furniture layouts, and basic construction drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in change‑management scenarios.
  • Customer‑service mindset with the ability to partner effectively across functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with CAFM/CMMS systems preferred.
  • Ability to respond to after‑hours or time‑sensitive move and project activities as required

Nice To Haves

  • Facility Management, Project Management, or related certification (e.g., IFMA, BOMI, PMP) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Primary site authority for all MAC activities including moves, restacks, and reconfigurations.
  • Develop and manage the site MAC roadmap, sequencing work to align with manufacturing priorities.
  • Own MAC schedules, dependencies, and execution plans to minimize operational disruption including on/off-boarding.
  • Lead move readiness, day-of-move execution, and post-move closeout.
  • Execute approved seating plans and space allocations.
  • Translate test fits and master layouts into executable plans.
  • Validate space plans against operational and safety constraints.
  • Provide site input into master planning efforts and future growth planning.
  • Develop and evaluate space and move scenarios to support business decisions.
  • Partner with corporate Real Estate and Space Planning on long-term options.
  • Maintain accurate CAFM space, occupancy, and asset data.
  • Ensure post-move data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Leverage data for utilization analysis and scenario planning.
  • Manage small to mid-scale workplace, employee experience and facilities projects.
  • Coordinate vendors, schedules, scopes, and budgets.
  • Track risks, milestones, and delivery commitments.
