Under general direction, directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations of the facilities maintenance unit/functions within the Facilities Division for commuter rail, transit center, light rail and administrative facilities; analyzes, identifies and quantifies facility maintenance needs including scope, schedule, budget and quality of work necessary to maintain them; supervises staff (including contractors) and oversees management and coordination of maintenance contracts including HVAC, janitorial, elevators, fire systems, graffiti removal, landscaping; writes various reports, messages and documents needed to manage or coordinate the full scope of maintenance activities with other Divisions, programs, Departments/Offices and outside agencies; compiles and continuously improves maintenance unit objectives, guidelines and procedures; administers and manages budget and staffing plan/needs; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director, Facilities.
