About The Position

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced and motivated EHS&S Manager in our Cypress manufacturing facility. The mission of this role is to ensure a positive and safe workplace experience every day. This means striking a fine balance between the optimal and the exceptional with Safety and in the way our workspace is organized and used. As a leader, you will partner closely with our Compliance, Quality, and Workplace & Facilities teams, overcoming any “behind the scenes” challenges and ensuring a seamless process for our employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years progressive EHS&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leverage critical thinking and influencing skills to plan and execute projects meaningfully, all while ensuring the safety and health of our employees.
  • Able to work in a collaborative, fast-moving, and ambiguous environment while being an effective communicator and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a closely related technical field.
  • Deep working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards (29 CFR 1910); experience managing OSHA 300 logs and handling inspections.
  • Demonstrated experience managing environmental permits (air, water, waste) and preparing regulatory submissions independently.
  • Proven ability to lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
  • Strong communication skills — able to translate regulatory requirements into plain language for frontline workers and credible technical conversations with regulators.
  • Ability to oversee and implement strong internal processes that drive effectiveness across organization.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive complex projects with aggressive schedules with minimal oversight
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management software/CMMS systems.
  • Flexibility to respond and react to facility emergencies on a 24/7 basis, along with having flexibility with work hours to support all operations and shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the facility’s safety management system in alignment with OSHA standards and company policy.
  • Conduct routine safety audits, near-miss review, and workplace inspections
  • Manage the process for safety observations, hazard reporting and corrective/preventative action (CAPA) tracking to closure.
  • Respond to and lead all recordable incidents, near-misses, and first-aid events in real time – including off-hours when required.
  • Complete thorough root cause analyses (RCA) using structured methodologies and drive corrective actions to completion.
  • Manage all environmental permits including air (Title V or minor source), wastewater/stormwater (NPDES/SPDES), and hazardous/non-hazardous waste (RCRA).
  • Oversee waste characterization, storage, manifesting, and disposal with permitted vendors; ensure generator compliance at all times.
  • Conduct or coordinate required environmental monitoring and sampling; maintain records audit-ready.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports (Tier II, TRI/Form R, DMR, annual hazardous waste reports) accurately and on time.
  • Track and report facility-level sustainability KPIs: energy consumption, water usage, waste diversion rates, and GHG emissions.
  • Identify and champion projects that reduce environmental footprint and support corporate sustainability targets.
  • Engage operations and engineering teams in continuous improvement efforts with measurable environmental benefit.
  • Design and deliver EHS&S onboarding and refresher training for all facility employees — including floor-level, skilled trades, and supervisory staff.
  • Build and support the facility's safety committee; coach supervisors and team leads on hazard recognition and safety leadership.
  • Foster a culture where employees report hazards, near-misses, and concerns without fear — and see action taken.
  • Prepare and present monthly EHS&S performance reports to Director, Global Workplace Solutions And as needed to corporate stakeholders.
  • Maintain all EHS&S documentation in a structured, audit-ready system.
  • Support corporate EHS&S initiatives, audits, and reporting requirements.
