About The Position

Community Relations and Corporate Initiatives seeks a talented and motivated Manager, Enterprise Volunteer Enablement, responsible for developing and executing KeyBank's enterprise-wide volunteerism strategy. This role leads programs that drive teammate engagement, community impact, and business alignment through volunteerism, financial empowerment, board service, and civic engagement initiatives. This individual will oversee the engagement of volunteers across the enterprise and develop enterprise-wide measurement and reporting frameworks that demonstrate the impact of volunteerism at scale. The role will also oversee KeyBank's financial empowerment initiatives, including Money, Me & Key, ensuring alignment with community, business, and CRA objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated multiple project management leadership skills; experience in organizing, planning and executing medium to large-scale, multi-functional projects from vision through implementation
  • Demonstrated analytical, process management and conceptual skills
  • Demonstrated ability to express complex concepts in terms that are understandable to the business partners, senior leaders, and the sales force
  • Superior teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels
  • Deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by diverse communities across Key’s footprint
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with support partners and influence geographically diverse sales teams
  • Superior knowledgeable of financial products, e.g., deposit & credit products, investments, etc.
  • Demonstrated advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of enterprise-wide volunteerism, board service and civic engagement strategy
  • Establish and support scalable volunteer programs that support community needs, business priorities, employee engagement, and brand visibility
  • Collaborate with Social Impact Leader to identify national partnerships that create scalable volunteer opportunities aligned with enterprise priorities and local market needs
  • Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert on volunteerism, board service, and civic engagement, advising senior leaders on trends, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Execute strategies to recruit, engage, retain, and recognize teammate volunteers across all markets and lines of business.
  • Develop ongoing communications, campaigns, recognition programs, and volunteer engagement initiatives that encourage year-round participation.
  • Partner with KBINGs, market leadership, and business leaders to expand volunteer participation and community impact.
  • Develop and manage programs that connect teammates with nonprofit board service opportunities aligned with community needs, business priorities, and colleague development goals.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Learning & Development, and business leaders to position board service as a leadership development and community engagement opportunity.
  • Lead the enterprise strategy for measuring, tracking, and reporting volunteerism outcomes and impact.
  • Leverage volunteer data and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Develop training resources and processes to ensure accurate logging and measurement of volunteer activity.
  • Measure and report on board service participation, leadership representation, community impact, and organizational outcomes
  • Oversee enterprise financial empowerment programming, including Money, Me & Key and related financial education initiatives.
  • Integrate financial empowerment opportunities within broader volunteer engagement strategies to maximize community impact and teammate participation.
  • Collaborate with business partners, Community Responsibility Officers, and market leaders to sustainably scale and deploy financial education workshops in markets across enterprise.

Benefits

  • This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually.
  • Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
