About The Position

As the Enterprise IT Manager, you will be the strategic leader responsible for supporting a global corporate footprint with centralized office and remote workforce profiles. Your solutions-driven approach will be key to managing technology, projects, and people, ensuring a unified, secure, and highly productive enterprise IT environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Windows systems and software management, including the ability to perform server administration tasks (user/group management, security permissions, group policies, application integrations), troubleshoot event-log issues, and monitor resources.
  • 3+ years of experience successfully managing or supervising an IT Systems Administration or similar technical team.
  • Demonstrated experience working with interconnected network, VPN, and Firewall architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise business applications and collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspaces, including vendor selection, maintenance, upgrades, and event triage.
  • Proficiency in modern identity management, including AD and Azure AD domain, and expert knowledge of SSO platforms and protocols (SAML, ODIC, OAuth).
  • Experience applying modern AI augmentation techniques to streamline operations, enhance triage processes, or improve scripting efficiencies for the team.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply management and leadership skills in an IT environment.
  • Ability to provide concrete examples of utilizing PowerShell to automate routine tasks in enterprise systems management.
  • Strong analytical/technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across a wide range of technology.
  • Practical use and understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, SLA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms across a variety of operating systems, including distributed management, provisioning, and security services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with proven experience delivering services to and supporting the needs of end users in a corporate environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Hands-On Experience with leading or participating in Security Compliance Programs (FedRAMP, SOX, etc.).
  • Accomplished self-driven or sponsored certifications in Network, Security, Identity, or Windows Domain technologies.
  • Cloud Platform experience with Azure, AWS, or OCI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT Systems Administration team, setting strategic goals on IT architecture, prioritizing key projects, managing ticket assignment and grooming, while effectively managing team resources and allocation.
  • Provide functional and administrative supervision, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline for assigned staff.
  • Serve as the Project Manager for critical IT system administration initiatives, creating comprehensive plans, diagrams, schedules, and task lists, and reporting on project status.
  • Manage the departmental budget, including planning and approving purchases for hardware, software, and maintenance contracts.
  • Oversee the efficient consolidation of corporate IT systems through Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activities into a unified corporate model.
  • Provide clear direction and streamlined operational management for critical enterprise infrastructure tasks to support department growth and operational excellence, encompassing: Systems administration and design within both on-prem and cloud environments, Automation of employee onboarding/offboarding processes, Server and network availability, patching, and upgrade activities.
  • Define and review operational metrics, monitoring, and alerts for all critical IT services.
  • Support for audit and compliance activities.
  • Drive the design, implementation, and evaluation of corporate hardware and software solutions.
  • Lead the Development of Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), which is critical for a global, hybrid workforce, encompassing Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), and Mobile Content Management (MCM).
  • Direct and provide escalation support for a diverse workforce utilizing both Mac and PC laptop platforms.
  • Supervise the administration of core corporate platforms: Identity & Access Management: Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, and Okta SSO. Collaboration: Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Communications: VOIP systems.
  • Ensure systems security and protection against misuse and viruses, and assist with managing robust backup and disaster recovery efforts.
  • Drive the development of departmental AI and AI Agentic enhancements and team augmentation.
  • Contribute to mentorship and team development, striving for a positive, collaborative, and professional dynamic within the team and with other departments.
  • Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams across a global and dynamic business unit.
