Requirements

  • Strong people leadership and coaching skills
  • Deep understanding of enrollment, eligibility, and pharmacy claims workflows
  • Ability to analyze operational metrics and drive corrective action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, rare disease, or high-complexity patient populations; experience managing intake or enrollment teams

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a mix of Supervisors and Enrollment Representatives, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training reinforcement, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor daily enrollment volumes, eligibility completion, claim rejection resolution, and documentation accuracy; remove barriers impacting turnaround time.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, HIPAA requirements, payer rules, and documentation standards; conduct regular quality reviews and audits.
  • Partner with Admissions, Pharmacy, Access, and Billing teams to resolve enrollment issues and improve handoffs.
  • Track KPIs, analyze trends, escalate risks, and report performance to leadership; support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies, contribute to SOP updates, and support implementation of new tools or processes impacting enrollment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.
