Requirements
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Deep understanding of enrollment, eligibility, and pharmacy claims workflows
- Ability to analyze operational metrics and drive corrective action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Experience in specialty pharmacy, rare disease, or high-complexity patient populations; experience managing intake or enrollment teams
Responsibilities
- Supervise a mix of Supervisors and Enrollment Representatives, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training reinforcement, coaching, and performance management.
- Monitor daily enrollment volumes, eligibility completion, claim rejection resolution, and documentation accuracy; remove barriers impacting turnaround time.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, HIPAA requirements, payer rules, and documentation standards; conduct regular quality reviews and audits.
- Partner with Admissions, Pharmacy, Access, and Billing teams to resolve enrollment issues and improve handoffs.
- Track KPIs, analyze trends, escalate risks, and report performance to leadership; support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies, contribute to SOP updates, and support implementation of new tools or processes impacting enrollment.
