Engineering Manager to lead a team of technical departments related to in-house plastic injection moulding (including, production engineering, maintenance technicians, and tool and die.). The Engineering Manager will lead the team by providing industry experience, as well as guidance and leadership towards the achievement of organizational objectives and targets by: Coordinating and directing projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing overall project timelines. Analyze resources, tools, material, and overall program needs to plan and assess the feasibility of projects. Plan, review and manage Expense budgets Miscellaneous duties assigned by the leadership team Identify and participate in cost reduction, efficiency improvement and reduction of Non-Value-added operation projects through continuous improvement teams and other methods. Plan and direct the work of the Production Engineering team. Direct, review, and approve Capital Expenditure Projects. Manage New Model projects throughout the full cycle. Reviewing in-house moulding capacity plans and reporting on future bottlenecks. Participate in the development of production facility/ equipment, jig and fixture design. Facilitate a working relationship with Mould Die Engineering function in North America to ensure Denso Canada’s goals are met. Plan and direct the work of the Mould Maintenance Technician team. Participate in Process Troubleshooting and corrective action - root cause analysis as required. Support operational elements of the Mould Tech team Plan and direct the work of the Tool and Die Department Participate in Mould Tool troubleshooting and corrective action - root cause analysis as required.
