About The Position

Coordinates and directs activities of Manufacturing Engineering team. Works together with other departmental managers to coordinate efforts between departments. Responsible for coordination of efforts to identify inefficiencies in manufacturing process, capacities, and effectiveness and to work with the Manufacturing Engineering team to devise solutions to those inefficiencies Essential Responsibilities: - Support Manufacturing Engineers in their efforts to solve manufacturing process related issues. - Communicate effectively with other departmental managers to maintain a strong working relationship between departments - Perform timekeeping, performance reviews, administer disciplinary actions, and coordinate engineer’s skills development - Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: - An Engineering degree in a related field or equivalent - 5-10 years industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent in related industry - Must be versed in the use of business software suites such as MS Office/Outlook and MS project. - Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills Essential Mental Functions: - Strong communication skills - Understanding of Project Management and manufacturing principles. - Must be able to mentor engineering team. - Recommend measure to improve methods, performance, and quality. - Must be comfortable and confident in working with OEMs to resolve equipment/process issues. Requirements

  • An Engineering degree in a related field or equivalent
