About The Position

Apple is seeking a manager to lead a high-performing team of project managers supporting the development lifecycle across Software Engineering, Product Management, QA, Design, and Marketing. The role focuses on fostering innovation, collaboration, and operational effectiveness to deliver high-quality software solutions for Intelligent System Experiences.

The manager will lead, coach, inspire, and develop Engineering Project Managers who drive complex projects across Apple platforms. They will coordinate teams across Software, Hardware, Design, and other functions to deliver features and technology across Apple operating systems while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in software engineering project or program management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle from inception to launch.
• At least 3 years of direct people-management experience, including hiring, career development, performance management, and leading high-performing project manager teams.
• Demonstrated success launching customer-facing software products, with a focus on operational rigor and continuous improvement.
• Extensive expertise managing software development lifecycle processes, with a focus on metrics and efficiency.
• Ability to solve complex problems, consult across functions, and support organizational planning.
• Experience delivering written and verbal communications, status updates, and presentations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Ability to design, define, and successfully scale new operational processes from scratch.
• Experience creating clear, concise, well-structured written documentation, including project plans, reports, and presentations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in team meetings, stakeholder presentations, and discussions.
