About The Position

The eLearning Manager is responsible for achieving high customer satisfaction and sales through a range of course offerings, structure of courses, and performance of courses for subscription-based adult learning. This position encourages ownership of results in enrollments, customer satisfaction, revenue, and course and LMS development. Responsibilities include working with subject matter experts (SME) on content development, finding and reviewing instructional designer resources for creative and interactive content, managing LMS performance, refining LMS processes and workflow to maximize customer satisfaction and meet expectations, guiding promotional efforts, attaining sales revenue goals, and assisting customers in purchasing and course access at both individual, educational, and corporate levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher is required, preferably in English, journalism, education, or communications.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in web-based, educational, training, or adult learning environments.
  • Proficient project management experience with the ability to successfully support, manage, and review multiple projects using internal and external resources simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and analyze data important to business decisions and apply resources to generate such data.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey conclusions supporting fiscal objectives.
  • Professional level written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Go-To-Meeting, Teams, WebEx, and similar software.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Articulate 360, with a focus on Storyline and SCORM formatting requirements, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee eLearning infrastructure, which includes overall design and operation of the ASHRAE eLearning store to meet fiscal objectives established by the department director, addition of course content, and communication with customers for sales and ongoing support.
  • Support the eLearning business enterprise as identified in the eLearning LMS Support Table (subject to ongoing revision).
  • Maintain appropriate LMS infrastructure, course development, and distribution processes and workflows.
  • Develop and manage sales promotions and campaigns to create awareness of eLearning and establish its value in the individual, educational, and corporate marketplace.
  • Recommend pricing for eLearning courses and libraries.
  • Interact with potential and existing educational and corporate sales accounts, assembling programs to serve needs, communicating value to consummate sales, and servicing sales.
  • Prepare monthly analysis of purchasing trends of products and customer characteristics. This analysis includes sales revenue, customers served, new customers, renewing customers, and un-renewed subscriptions.
  • Take actions based on the monthly analysis which capitalizes on revenue growth opportunities and improves the eLearning purchasing and renewing experience.
  • Report navigation tendencies of visitors to the eLearning store.
  • Recommend to director the need for new courses and regroupings of product offerings based on customer feedback.
  • Demonstrate eLearning store functionality at meetings, conferences, and other events as assigned by the director of publications and education. Serve as vendor contact for eLearning store functionality as requested by group manager and by director of publications and education.
  • Select, train, assign, supervise, coach, encourage, and evaluate subject matter experts, instructional designers, and support staff assigned.
  • Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the group manager of publishing services or director of publications and education.
