About The Position

The role encompasses 24-hour direct responsibility for the supervision and management of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and Cardiology Department, which provide direct and indirect patient care for an age-specific population. This position collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address learning needs at the unit level and participates in the provision of organization-wide education.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in nursing or other health related field or agreement to enroll in Bachelors degree program within one year of accepting position
• Minimum of two years experience as a cardiac catheterization laboratory (CCL) staff member
• Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory position in a hospital setting
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Able to work in a team environment
• Able to manage/prioritize/complete work assignments
• Current Registered Nurse license or ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists)
• Certified by the state of California as a CRT (Certified Radiological Technologist)
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS and BLS card
