Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience).
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in Cath Lab or Radiology, and/or registry eligible.
- Valid BCLS certification required; ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Licensure or Certification in degree field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing Scrub or Monitor functions.
- Operate and maintain equipment and supplies in the Cardiovascular Lab (CCL).
- Ensure patient safety by recognizing cardiac arrhythmias and responding according to emergency protocols.
- Operate external cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators as needed.
