Founded in 1997, Bottom Line is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization with a mission to partner with degree-aspiring students from first-generation and low-income backgrounds as they get into college, graduate, and launch meaningful careers. Bottom Line provides consistent, one-on-one support to help students navigate the challenges of accessing and succeeding in college. The Manager of Donor Experience (MDE) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing donor-facing events, communications, and engagement activities to deepen donor commitment and engagement with Bottom Line. This role partners closely with the Managing Director of Development and regional development team to deliver a coordinated donor experience across events and communications. The MDE ensures that donor-facing activities are well-organized, clearly messaged, and executed in a way that reinforces Bottom Line’s impact and fundraising priorities. The MDE leads the planning and execution of all donor-facing events in the New York region, while also developing and delivering compelling communications and storytelling that connect donors to Bottom Line’s students, alumni, and outcomes. This role also supports volunteer coordination, including the Associate Board, ensuring these efforts are organized and aligned with regional priorities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across teams. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with different stakeholders, and ensuring that both events and communications are delivered consistently and at a high level of quality.
