About The Position

LandBridge (NYSE: LB) is hiring a Manager, Digital Infrastructure to support deal origination, structuring, and execution for large-scale data center, power generation, and integrated water projects across LandBridge’s Permian Basin surface holdings. The role partners across LandBridge, WaterBridge (NYSE: WBI), hyperscaler customers, IPP and renewable developers to deploy powered land opportunities. This is a hands-on, commercial role with exposure to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in energy, real assets, infrastructure, or digital infrastructure deal structuring; direct exposure to data center, power, midstream, or large industrial transactions strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and defend financial models (NPV, IRR, sensitivity, scenario) for multi-asset transactions with optionality.
  • Working knowledge of ERCOT market structure and Texas regulatory environment (PUCT, RRC) preferred; willingness and ability to develop deep fluency required.
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-counterparty transactions from origination through close, including coordination with legal, land, finance, operations, and external counterparties.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to produce executive-grade materials and present to internal and external audiences.
  • Self-starter with high ownership; thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and incomplete information.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with external customers, regulators, and partners

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain pipeline of hyperscaler, colocation, and IPP counterparties; lead inbound and outbound engagement with named accounts.
  • Structure ground leases, options, PPA / power royalty mechanics, and term/renewal architecture.
  • Build NPV/acre, IRR, and sensitivity models for option + lease + royalty structures; defend assumptions with internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate with legal, land, and finance to move opportunities from MOU through option agreement to FID, with rigorous tracking.
  • Support partnership management with power generation / storage developers.
  • Own site narrative development for named opportunities, including power, water, fiber, transport, workforce, and stakeholder positioning.
  • Maintain site-level data rooms covering surface and mineral ownership, subsurface utilities, prior land use, environmental constraints, and decommissioning / restoration exposure.
  • Translate technical site facts into talk tracks, RFP responses, and board-level materials.
  • Coordinate with WaterBridge on produced water supply, treatment, and disposal solutions for data center cooling, including phased build profiles, RO/brine handling, evaporation ponds, and SWD permitting considerations.
  • Develop water usage efficiency (WUE, L/kWh) and water balance models tailored to Permian Basin.
  • Support Q&A decks, process flow diagrams, and customer-facing materials for water supply proposals.
  • Monitor municipal land use proceedings and their implications for LB / WBI surface commercial strategy.
  • Coordinate with environmental, permitting, and ESG functions relating to permit and development strategies.
  • Prepare quarterly updates to the executive team on pipeline status, closed transactions, regulatory exposures, and emerging opportunities.
