About The Position

This is a full-time, position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Applicants hired into this position will work hybrid coming onsite regularly at various UW Health locations. Hours and hybrid work may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Manager, Diagnostic Radiology who: Is an operational imaging leader with deep experience in X-ray (IP/OP) Cultivates a culture of collaboration, engagement, and accountability while leveraging deep operational expertise to support exceptional patient care. Creates alignment across teams and stakeholders, breaking down silos to enhance communication, teamwork, and shared success. Develops leaders and empowers teams by fostering trust, transparency, inclusion, and continuous learning. Builds strong partnerships to advance strategic priorities, optimize resources, and support sustainable organizational growth. Serves as a visible and influential leader who strengthens culture, enhances employee engagement, and drives organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

Graduate of a Radiology/Medical Imaging school
Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in in Business, Healthcare Administration, Physical Science, Biological Science, or other relevant field
3 years health care operations supervisory experience or five (5) years of progressive relevant experience with demonstrated success and leadership skills
Experience with an academic medical center or complex healthcare system
Certification by appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire
Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Upon Hire
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire
