About The Position

The Manager of Development for Popeyes US East plays a crucial role in managing the development process, supporting franchisees and field teams to drive pipeline performance for new restaurant openings and remodels. This role acts as a project manager, guiding sites from property control to opening, and is essential for achieving ambitious goals related to net restaurant growth and brand image. RBI emphasizes a collaborative, in-office work environment, requiring successful candidates to work onsite five days a week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or a related field required
- 3-5+ years relevant work experience
- Project management experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills required
- Technical excel modeling and high-level data analytics skills
- Smartsheet experience preferred
- Ability to decipher ambiguous, complex information and present it in a clear concise manner
- Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growth

Responsibilities
- Partnering with franchisees to achieve industry-leading net restaurant growth
- Building relationships with franchisees to ensure swift execution of their development pipeline for current and future years
- Delivering and executing remodel plans to bring the new Popeyes brand identity into the market
- Building strong working relationships and influencing cross-functional teams, including Franchising, Deals, Market Planning, Legal, Real Estate, Design, Construction, Tech, and Field
- Developing and delivering presentations both internally and externally to executive-level leadership
- Assisting and advising during negotiations for development agreement decisions and amendments
